Season 3, Episode 3 – Guest: Joe Williams
Episode 3 of The John Garey Show features, Joe Williams. Joe is that crazy guy that used to work for me. Plus, he is one of the all time best instructors I’ve ever met! Oh, yea, and he’s a great friend. Joe talks about what it’s like to start over again at a new job in fitness and Pilates. And, I can tell you, he knows how to do it right. I hope you enjoy this episode.
What can I say about Joe? Not only is he a great friend, but he is hands down, one my favorite all time instructors (and I’ve known a lot of them). He has the ability to grow a class and keep them, for years! He’s always prepared, a terrific team player, and always working to improve. He makes it look so easy, but puts so much work into being the best. Here’s his bio from our website:
Joe taught at our studio for 8 years and there was been a dull moment! He taught everything! Joe is a fully Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor. He began his career in 2001 as a fitness consultant and group exercise instructor. His dynamic style, yet detailed approach to instruction has helped a multitude of clients with varying levels of fitness experience. In addition, Joe is also a certified Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He teaches group classes as well as private and semi-private sessions. Joe is a featured performer in a number of CORE™ and STOTT PILATES® DVDs for Merrithew Health &Fitness.
So as you can see, Joe was a favorite at our studio, with both the clients and the team. He’s greatly missed at JGF&P, but I know he’s making a ton of new clients happy in Las Vegas. As I said at his going away party, Las Vegas just got a lot luckier.
