Listed below are the Workshop I'm offering for 2018.  They are organized in sections.  The first section includes Mat based workshops, followed by Reformer and other Pilates Equipment Workshops, and finally Lecture Based Workshops.  The workshops are all eligible for CECs which are listed under each title.

Pilates Mat Workshop

This workshop focuses on using Pilates Mat for recovery, mobility and re-energizing. Using a combination of traditional Pilates exercises and fitness exercises you’ll learn how to improve mobility, strength and balance and the importance of each in a balanced workout program.

Unilateral work highlights body imbalances, while simultaneously helping to correct them. We’ll explore unilateral exercises in this workshop that will add both variety and challenge to any workout and help to highlight and correct imbalances. This program is designed as a stand-alone, full body workout, but can also be used for endless programming ideas. The exercises range from beginner to advanced.

Get ready for a fun, fitness-based Reformer workshop. It’s a balanced, full body workout with both traditional and creative new Reformer exercises. We combine the worlds of fitness and Pilates, using one of the most iconic pieces of Pilates equipment, the Reformer. Working from one end to the other on the equipment will also work you from head to toe. Get some great new programming ideas and have some fun with this dynamic and energetic workshop.

This workshop provides a program designed for stronger participants who have mastered the beginner and intermediate level exercises on the Reformer. It features a complete workout, with some all-time favorite fitness-based exercises performed on the Reformer. This program challenges strength, mobility and body awareness and while it’s level is intermediate-advanced, it includes a full-range of exercises starting from beginner.

Programming for Athletes

This full day, head-to-toe program gives a multitude of programming options for any athlete or client looking to increase strength. It’s presented in 3 sections: Lower Body Exercises, Upper Body Exercises, Core and Full Body Integrated Exercises. The exercises range from beginner to advanced. We take classic exercises and fitness-based exercises and put them together into a powerful program to challenge and improve the strength and body awareness of your toughest clients. Designed like a traditional fitness program, this workshop marries the best of both worlds: Pilates and fitness.

This workshop covers creative programming designed for Pilates participants who are athletic and looking to improve strength and balance.  It includes a full body workout with challenging fitness-based moves, hitting all of the major muscle groups, while adhering to the historic Pilates principles as well as the STOTT PILATES Basic Principles (contemporary principles of alignment). Although the exercises range from beginner to advanced, the programming is mostly intermediate level.

Fitness on the Cadillac

Cadillac Workshop

This workshop includes a creative, full body program and is designed for more fitness-based clients. The Cadillac will be used as a fitness tool using spring resistance to bring the worlds of fitness and Pilates together. Springs may be interchanged depending on the goal of the workout and the level of the client. This workshop is perfect for those instructors wanting to add a more fitness based flare to a traditional Pilates program.

This workshop includes a full body, advanced program using the Cadillac. Learn how to use the Roll Down Bar, Leg Springs, Arm Springs, the Push-Thru Bar, Trapeze and the Fuzzy Straps to create a fluid, fun and challenging advanced workout. You’ll learn to program exercises from one end of the Cadillac to the other in an organized and fluid manner, creating the perfect challenge for any enthusiastic client.

Multi Equipment Workshop

This workshop includes programming that is great for any athlete, but has been designed specifically to address the needs of triathletes. It includes more than 50 exercises that address crucial aspects of a triathlete’s training demands: Injury Prevention / Recovery / Core and Peripheral Strength / Body Awareness / Coordination / Agility / Balance. The exercises range from beginner to advanced. This program is delivered lecture / demo style.

The workshop culminates with a sample Mat class at the end, utilizing the concepts covered in the lecture.
